So what's all this about a book?
What if being an ally were actually fun?
Let's be real with each other: a lot of people out there are trying to make the world a better place and somehow they end up making themselves feel miserable in the process. The good news is that allyship doesn't have to be like this. It can be a flipping party! And (not to brag) but I know how. So I wrote it down. In a book. Which you can buy. By backing my Kickstarter (launching March 1). It's more or less magic.

So there's a magic book that makes allyship fun. How did that happen?
Back in 2020, I was working on my personal development program, Mastering the Game of Life. I take role playing games and personal development, then mix them together so that I can help people create a life that they love. And then George Floyd died.

Suddenly my social media feeds were flooded with people asking how they could be good allies. They wanted to know "How do I show up better for the people that need help in the world, the marginalized?" And there was a tiny part of myself, a guy I like to call Petty Pendergrass, who was screaming inside of me that I could tell them and it would be SO easy. Because I already had that set of tools. People just had to listen (yeah right, like that would happen). So I put out a call asking who wanted to learn how to be an ally, and lo and behold a surprising number of people raised their hands. Take that Petty Pendergrass.
That's how Mastering the Game of Allyship was born. I created a program that helps people take consistent daily, weekly, and monthly steps to being an effective ally. But this ain't yo mama's allyship. What's different about my approach?

We have a good time.

How does this special sauce work?
For the last two years, I've been teaching, lecturing, coaching, running groups, and getting people excited about this idea because it's super powerful. I've seen many people have huge transformations with their allyship when they stop getting in their own way. In the Mastering the Game of Allyship system, we make a game of it. We show up, we play, and we get results

After spending two years seeing some seriously jaw-dropping results from my one-on-one coaching clients, I decided it was time to share with a wider audience. That's why I'm taking everything I've learned and turning it into a book. Ultimately, this work is so powerful that I want to get it in front of as many people as possible. And because I know how important it is to work with your community to get things done, I knew the only way to make it happen was via crowdfunding.

I'm pumped! What do I do now?
